Reorienting public finance for SDGs acceleration and leveraging additional resources in Nepal aims to leverage the competencies of the specific UN agencies at the national and sub national levels to assist the Government of Nepal to strengthen and bring alignment and coherence in the public finance management system in the areas of budgeting, Medium-Term Expenditure Framework, and inter-government fiscal transfers to support integrated financing for the SDGs. On the one hand, this will strengthen the coherence between planning and budgeting as well as ensuring increased public finance for the implementation of high impact activities contributing to multiple SDGs.
