Job Description

Position: Results Based Management Analyst

Level: SB 4/4

Required Number: 1

Duty Station: Kathmandu

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Improves design/planning and implementation of Results Based Management in Programme and Project Development, focusing on the achievement.

2. Ensures effective coordination and implementation of the evaluation policies in the Country Office, focusing on achievement.

3. Provision of top quality advisory services and facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge management in the area of Results Based Management and evaluation.

4. Ensures Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) - related results are well captured and mainstreamed in monitoring, reporting and evaluation.

Job Specification

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Accounting and Finance, Business Management.

Experience:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience (minimum 5 years of M&E experience) at the national and international organization including the UN system in providing strategic support to improve quality of the program;

  • Experience in managing Result Based Management at UNDP, completion of internationally recognized evaluation course and training are highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experiences of managing gender-sensitive project evaluation including mobilization of network and effective coordination with diverse groups of the stakeholders;

  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems particularly in UN system.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in oral and written English
