Job Description

Education:

  • Completion of Master’s Degree (PhD preferred) in Economics, Political Science, Social Science, Development or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ of experience with a specific focus on Development Financing, ODA Management, Aid Effectiveness, Aid Management Information Systems implementation, ODA Project Implementation and Capacity Development;
  • Previous experience working within Government institutions responsible for ODA Management and coordination with a capacity development focus;
  • Experience working on and managing UNDP projects an advantage;
  • Experience in coordination associated with emergency response an asset;
  • In-country and or regional experience an asset.

Language Requirements:

  • Demonstrated excellent command of spoken and written English;
  • Working language is English, Knowledge of Nepali an asset;
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills required.
