Job Description

Required Skills and Experience
Education:

  • Completion of Master’s degree or equivalent in social science, international development or relevant field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience of policy coordination and program management including Disaster and Climate Risk Management, post-disaster recovery linked to broader development context;
  • Report writing, stakeholder consultation and knowledge management;
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages;
  • Training in risk assessment, resilience building, policy and evaluations;
  • Practical experiences in pre- and post-disaster in the context of developing countries.

Language Requirements:

  • Excellent command of English both in writing and speaking.
