Position Title: Excavator Sales Officer
Location: Kathmandu
Department: Sales – Heavy Equipment Division
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Head
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and approach potential hydro sector clients and construction contractors for excavator sales.
Promote, demonstrate, and present excavators and related heavy equipment to prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the hydropower and infrastructure sectors.
Understand client needs and offer tailored product and financing solutions.
Collaborate with the technical and service teams to ensure timely delivery and customer support.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide timely reports to the manager.
Participate in hydro and construction-related exhibitions or events to promote the brand.
Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, quotations, and sales follow-ups.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in sales of heavy equipment or related machinery.
Experience in dealing with hydropower projects or contractors is a strong advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good understanding of excavators, earth-moving equipment, and customer applications.
Ability to build networks within the hydro and construction industries.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
Other Requirements:
Valid two-wheeler license.
Willingness to travel within and outside the valley for client meetings or site visits.
Knowledge of the local terrain and hydro market landscape is a plus.
