We are urgently looking for dynamic team player in the following position for our National programme.

 

WaSH Team Leader

 

Applicable for Nepali Nationals only

 

Level: C2

 

Duration: Fixed term contract until March 2017

 

Location: Dhading

 

 

Job Role: 

To coordinate and provide technical guidance to the Public Health Engineering and Public Health Promotion teams at district level in the implementation of appropriate and quality WaSH programme activities targeting the earthquake affected areas in Dhading district. As a WaSH Team Leader, you will require assessing, planning, designing and implementing the most appropriate form water supply, sanitation and community health mobilisation, in consultation with the Programme manager. S/he will require liaising with the WASH Technical Lead and Capacity Builders to work on improvements and learn from other Districts and developing guidelines/ manuals where needed.

 

Requirement for the Role: Suitable (graduate level) qualification in any discipline related to public health, engineering, WASH with 5 years of proven practical experience. Good understanding of the WaSH vulnerabilities and needs of both poor rural and urban communities and of appropriate ways of tackling them. The post holder must be aware of and sensitive to the particular needs of women in this context.
