Oxfam is looking for a dynamic team player in the following positions for its National programme.

Position: Partner Finance Officer

Level: D1 

Duration: Fixed term contract till 31 March 2022 with possibility of extension 

Location: Kathmandu until 30 August 2021 then Kanchanpur with travel and Occasionally to Kathmandu

The Role

The Partner Finance Officer will steer the partnership assessment process for finance and contribute to the development of the financial management capacity of partners whilst supporting project staff to exercise budgetary control and ensuring accounting and budgeting for individual projects.

What we are looking for

The Partner Finance Officer will require to be exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline related to Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting (Master’s degree desirable).

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a finance and admin management role in an I/NGO.

  • Sound understanding of scope of strategic partnership and experience of capacity building.

  • Sound knowledge of institutional donors and hands on experience in producing high quality donor reports.

  • Experience of working collaboratively with civil society partners and sound ability to work together with others and independently as required.
