Location: Dhading
Job Role: This position will be responsible for strengthening Oxfam's response to humanitarian emergencies through support to programme and programme support staff of the earthquake response team, Dhading. S/he will require making continuous assessments of emergency situations, strategy development, reporting with recommendations and proposals for Oxfam's response. Also s/he will require linking relief with early recovery, reconstruction and development. S/he will be responsible for ensuring strategic planning, program quality insurance, budget management and monitoring and reporting.
Role Requirements: Master’s degree in relevant field related to the humanitarian and development sector. 5 years of experience in emergency/humanitarian and development work, and an understanding of relevant issues with proven record of effective management of complex projects in complex working environment.
