Job Title: Logistics Officer – Partner Support

Duration: Fixed term contract till March 2019
Location: Based in Nuwakot, Roving to Sindhupalchowk, Gorkha and Dhading
Job Role:
This position will be responsible to ensure minimum Oxfam logistics standard and full compliance to Oxfam procedures are maintained by implementing partners while carrying out the logistics functions at field. S/he will require supporting implementing partners to manage Logistics Functions, identify capacity building need and deliver related training, coaching and mentoring to partners’ Logistics staff. S/he will also be responsible to contribute in reducing Oxfam's financial and reputational risks through regular logistics monitoring and building partner NGOs' logistics management capacity.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant field with 3 years’ of experience in logistics management in development sector and working experience in humanitarian response project, including experience in security management.
