Job Role: In line with Oxfam’s strategic plans and policy guidelines, under the supervision of Humanitarian Director, this position will be responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Humanitarian Preparedness and Response activities in Nepal. S/he will require ensuring the country team and program is sufficiently prepared for an emergency and also will be responsible for the capacity building of its partners and staff to enable a rapid quality response. S/he will be responsible for regular coordination with logistic department, other thematic groups within OXFAM for synergizing in line with one programme approach as well as with partner organisation and district stake holders.
Role Requirements: Master’s Degree in Disaster Risk Management or Humanitarian Response or Bachelors Degree in any relevant field with at least five years experience in emergency response and DRR Projects.
