Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihood Team Leader (INT1806)

Job Purpose: Support the EFSVL Coordinator in the management, coordination and oversight of the implementation of Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL) programme to address food security and livelihoods needs of the affected population in Oxfam’s operational areas under the Nepal Earthquake response.
Responsibilities:
This position will require leading or participating in the preparation, planning and implementation of EFSVL activities in relevant district. You will also require to lead and participate in the technical analysis of the food security situation within the team and develop strong positive relations with partner organizations.
Requirements:
Masters’ degree or equivalent in food security & livelihoods discipline (rural development, agronomy or relevant field of study). Proven minimum 5 years field experience of as an emergency food security or livelihood specialist.
