Job Role: In line with Oxfam's strategic plans and policy guidelines, under the leadership of the DRR and Climate Change Adaptation program manager and Water Governance Team leader, the position holder will be responsible to lead coordinate and manage Oxfam GB Nepal’s Water Governance (Trans Boundary Rivers of South Asia- TROSA) Program.
The position holder will be responsible for programme coordination for implementation and delivery of all work under the TROSA Programme. S/he will coordinate work delivered by country and affiliate staffs and will manage project staff, develop and maintain relationships with project partners at national and regional level, external stakeholders and ensure close coordination with the other lead agencies within and outside the national boundary in the water governance program. S/he will play important role to coordinate and interact with the other Oxfam affiliates for dialogues and learning sharing.
The position holder will support the Team leader in budget planning, oversight and monitoring; ensuring the monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) framework is embedded in the project cycle; grant and contract management; and strategic external engagement with stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Competencies: Masters Degree in Integrated Water Resource management/ Climate Change/ Natural Resource Management/ Environment Science or similar subjects with 3 years of experience in Trans-boundary water issues, policy advocacy and/or Business administration.
