Partnership Quality Coordinator

 

Only Applicable for Nepali Nationals

 

Contract Duration – One year (extendable) fixed term contract based in Kathmandu

 

         Level – C2

 

Job Purpose: To utilize Oxfam’s knowledge and expertise and lead on initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of what and how partners work.

 

The Role:

As a Partnership Quality Coordinator, you will be required to lead the process of development and implementation of Oxfam’s partnership strategy and guidelines and support Oxfam district offices to implement the strategy, guidelines and tools. You will require identifying new partnership opportunities together with Programme Quality Director (PQD) and actively contribute to build partnership relationship with networks, alliances, professional groups, I /NGOs and donors. You will also require developing training modules for Oxfam and partner staff on effective partnership, including orientation on institutional capacity building tools, capacity assessment and compliance.

 

Requirements to apply for this role are:

To be successful in this role, you must have proven organizational skills and ability to maintain administrative systems and processes. You must have the ability to understand wider contextual issues that impact effective partnerships and knowledge of Nepal’s NGO culture and the role of NGOs in development, humanitarian and influencing work. Masters Degree with 3-5 year experience in the development sector, project and partner management, coordination with government and non government agencies. Academic background in DRR/M, Civil engineering, Agriculture and forestry will be an added advantage.
