Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Develop the overall framework for project M&E in accordance to the project and document M&E plan; Oversee and execute M&E activities included in the Annual Work Plan, with particular focus on results and impacts as well as in lesson learning; Design and implement a system to identify, analyze, document and disseminate lessons learned. 

Qualifications and Experience required: A Master's degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Research Methods or related field or a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in health activities on monitoring, evaluation and research methods with increasing levels of responsibility in Asia and preferably in Nepal; Demonstrated ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively and in flexible and adaptive programming; Research skills— surveys, focus groups, knowledge, practice and coverage studies—data analysis, and how to make effective presentations. Knowledge of EPHNFO, LQAS, 30-cluster sampling survey methodology, SPSS, and other statistical tools preferred.

Core competencies: Must have previous experience of managing USAID grants successfully; At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing and managing large and complex projects involving multiple partners, in/for developing countries; Excellent oral and written English & Nepali; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office; Ready to take initiatives and willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking with decision making and problem solving skills; Good understanding of humanitarian Sector; Committed to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement.
