Position: Finance Officer (Two)
Job Location: WVI-NER Rural Districts-Gorkha and Dolakha
Work Purpose: Perform wide variety of regular and recurring accounting functions, including establishing accounting records and maintaining the general accounting system.
Job Responsibilities:
ï‚· Coordinates, updates, and maintains the tracking of database for new and existing capital and non-capital assets
ï‚· Provides information for inventory reports as well as other assets reports and
records
ï‚· Assists with the development of written processes and procedures for identifying, tracking, transferring, reporting, and as requested, disposing of fixed assets
ï‚· Coordinates transfer of assets and updates the assets records with each transfer.
ï‚· Monthly reconcile Sun system data with Asset System data received from HQ office and all district locations.
ï‚· Imports all data from Sun system through voucher interface to the assetmanagement system monthly
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:
ï‚· Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Management with major finance subject or relevant subject from recognized university with at least three years’ experience finance/assets management and administration.
ï‚· Knowledge of accounting theory and financial analysis and experience in financialreporting
ï‚· Good understanding of development issues
ï‚· Good knowledge and skills in accounting, assets management & administration
ï‚· Good time management and organizational skills
ï‚· Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)
ï‚· Demonstratedproficiency in computer applications including use of MicrosoftOffice Suite
ï‚· Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable people
ï‚· Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent
