Senior Research Fellow – Qualitative Research (1)
Location: Kathmandu, head-office
The Senior Research Fellow-Qualitative Research will work as one of the full-time senior members of Research Department of HERD International who is expected to lead and manage qualitative health research projects under the guidance of Managing Director and Qualitative Research Lead. The scope of the position is accomplishment of the stated key end-results by providing strategic leadership/team management and professional expertise in study design, data generation, data monitoring and management, analysis and write up.
Master’s degree in social science/sociology/anthropology or public health, preferably a PhD in qualitative research with at least 7 years of applied qualitative health research.
Has led - design, implementation and analysis of qualitative research applying various data collection and analysis methods.
Should have strong analytical writing skills demonstrated through delivery of comprehensive reports and peer-reviewed publications.
Strong leadership and motivational skills to work with interdisciplinary team strongly desired.
Evidence of high proficiency in English language
