Main responsibility areas:
-
Perform proactive administration of application layer for critical enterprise services and plan for expansions/up gradations.

Define enterprise portal objectives by analyzing user requirements, system features and functionality.

Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle.

Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
-
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines and information servers.

Contribute I team meetings, troubleshooting, development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

Monitor the application layer of enterprise applications and perform preventive as well as proactive maintenance.

Respond to trouble tickets and resolve issues within the specified SLA. Manage SLA’s with suppliers, develop improvement plans for services.

Assist in identifying, recommending and implementing new enterprise portals and applications as per the requirements of the business to improve team functionality and service provision to enterprise.

Identify, analyze, audit and reconciliations of items and ensure to close gaps in terms of security and product enhancement.

Maintain positive relationship with inter/intra department/unit and partners/vendors and focus on customer experience.

Take ownership of activities i.e. user/role management, logs review for any potential issues, capturing raw data and generating report. Performance maintenance including applying patches and system tuning in collaboration with vendor.

Ensure successful planning and processes for version upgrades, software fixes and preventive maintenance to minimize risk and service disruptions.

Your qualification and experience:
-
Minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering or IT or Computer Science.
-
2 years of experience in Telecommunication. Experience in similar field will be an advantage.
Your profile:
-
Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar field especially in enterprise web portals would be an advantage.
-
Hands on experience in the area of standard web programming languages & CMS.
-
Good knowledge of standard adaptive web programming platforms (ASP. NET, Java Script, PHP, SQL).
-
Good knowledge of software development lifecycle, IT service management and ITIL best practices.
-
Good knowledge of standard CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc.).
-
Good knowledge of enterprise applications (exchange, active directory, antivirus solutions etc.).
-
Good IT and network knowledge.
-
Good understanding of telecom processes, protocols and standards.

Good knowledge of Linux/UIX-based/Windows based on server platforms with an emphasis on how applications are deployed.

Good knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware) knowledge and experience is preferred.

Able to handle complex technical and product issues ensuring quick TTM.

Ability to make a proper coordination and communication with related partners.

Capable to respond resourcefully and responsively to challenging situations.

Manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues in an innovative yet structured approach.

Good analyzing, problem solving and reporting skills.
