Job Description

This position requires native Nepali language skills in both writing and speaking and it is basically focused for local people of Nepal.

Main responsibility areas:

  • Control, plan & implement the vendor's resources for Ncell need and requirement to meet the target of electrical & FLM and escalation passive issue to relative parties and trace the progress
  • Check layouts, design drawings, BoQ/BoM, bills and scope of works performed by vendors
  • Responsible for control and preventive maintenance, operational & emergency maintenance for electrical infrastructure node for all radio sites, core locations and office
  • Manage the spare parts of electrical infrastructure
  • Responsible for operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment/infrastructure in radio sites, datacenter, and administrative locations
  • Acceptance and follow up all power activities related to scope of the NITI section
  • Update all work documentation - logs, reports, make drawings and design schemes, prepare RFP/RFQ related to electrical system
  • Implement of process management tools SIMS to verify the work
  • Control generator scopes like rectification, servicing and fueling
  • Responsible for alternative energy situation (Solar, Generator, Wind, Fuel cell, etc) for radio sites
  • Additional task delegated by line manager

Your qualification and experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • Experience in the similar field will be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of typical Telco - Power equipment, like DG, UPS, Rectifier, solar, industrial & commercial electrification will be an advantage
  • Functional knowledge on LV & MV switchgear (like VCB, ACB and other), transfer switches (AMF) operation will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of power supply in Nepal
  • Sound computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc.)
  • Knowledge in Auto CAD
  • Good communication skills in both English and Nepali
