Position: Chief Commercial Officer

This position requires international exposure in Commercial area with sufficient exposure in competitive multinational Telecommunication sector.

Main responsibility areas:

  • Define the targets according to the annual instructions and update periodic report of the results. Delegate sub-target setting to the reporting units/teams and follow-up the results. Make annual operational plan, headcount plan, budget (as delegated) and KPIs. Support and identify the Department level strategy, vision, mission, targets and KPIs within the delegated frame.
  • Responsible for the Go-to-Market Strategy & Plan to sustain Undisputed No 1 Mobile Operator in Nepal
  • Identifies and executes sales, subscriber acquisition and sales channels development strategies
  • Analyzes overall strategic targets of the company and determines Sales Department performance indicators and targets. Reviews and approves Monthly and Annual Sales Plan and Budget.
  • Reviews the Distributor/Region Analysis Report, Distributor Roadmap/Region Development Plan, Customer Analysis Report and Action Plan.
  • Identifies the company product assortments, product pricing and the promotion plans
  • Identifies strategies for bonus management and rewards management of distributors
  • Reviews and approves action plans, requests and activities related to sales, coming from different functions of the company (GB customer segment action plan, zone change and discount requests, and etc.)
  • Designs the overall marketing strategy and marketing division roadmap based on the company strategy
  • Creates an integrated, overall marketing plan and develops and implements short, mid and long-term strategic marketing plans
  • Responsible for achieving the company’s main targets and KPI - Revenue, Market share, ARPU, churn, MOU, subscriber activity ratio
  • Identifies Ncell product, services and tariff plans portfolio for consumer and corporate segments. Develops Product and services portfolio, based on the company strategy and market requirements. Identifies and executes product / service pricing strategies
  • Manages VAS, BI, Consumer, Corporate, Roaming, Marketing communication teams, reviews and approves the unit plans
  • Monitor market trends, competitors’ Marketing strategies and prices
  • Spearhead new revenue stream via data service and content (Music & Entertainment)
  • Assemble, train, mobilize and lead the high performance Commercial team to keep the winning momentum.

Your qualification and experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor in Management studies or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years of Leadership role and proven track record in Commercial function in Telecom Sector preferably in multinational business environment
