Psychosocial Counsellor. Nuwakot District (one)
 
Job Description :
  • Facilitate data/information collection and management of post.traumato stress disorders (PTSD)
  • Organize community gatherings, rallies, workshops, seminars. public meetings. workshops, informal social discussions regarding PTSD. Develop IECIBCC materials
  • Regular monitoring and evaluation of PTSD awareness raising activities
  • Support PTSD Experts to conduct training/orientation in schools and communities
  • Provide basic counselling and psycho-therapy for individuals, groups or families with PTSD
  • Provide orientations. workshops and trainings to local health workers and concerned stakeholders on PTSD
 
Job Specification :
  • Bachelor degree in psychology, mental health, counselling or related held with minimum three years of professional experience in mental health and psychosocial supped. especially experience in post crises care and treatment. mental health, cross cultural communications. counselling, training and related areas
  • Expertise in mental health and psychosocial support after crises
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali
