Job Description

  • Master degree in a relevant field.
  • At least seven years of experience in managing sustainable livelihoods, or business development projects using the value chain or market solution approach.
  • In depth knowledge of strategy development in the areas of commercial agriculture, food security, enterprise development and market system strengthening.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan/budget/manage program components, analyze data, and write reports.
  • Demonstrated facilitation and coordination skills, especially with the concerned local governments, institutions and a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Work experience in the Far West Development Region of Nepal would be an asset.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.
