Job Description

Good Neighbors International (GNI) Nepal is an International Non-governmental Organization working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving lives of people, especially children through education, income generating activities, health services, WASH, advocacy, network building and disaster risk reduction.

GNI Nepal is initiating SMART CLASSROOM Project in Kaski and Parbat districts and seek application for following post.

Position: Project Officer, Kaski District (one)

Job Description :

  • Contribute in designing and planning SMART CLASSROOM Project.
  • Develop strategies for project implementation, promoting of adoption and optimum use of the ICT in teaching learning activities.
  • Research on educational materials developed by government agencies, non-governmental organizations and other firms/companies.
  • Co-ordinate with the national level Technical Unit comprised of representative from the Department of Education, Curriculum Development Center, and collaborators.
  • Generate long and short term plans and innovative ideas; and develop digital educational materials based on the curriculum prescribed by Curriculum Development Center (CDC), Ministry of Education, Nepal.
  • Design and develop training packages for adopting multimedia added teaching-learning.
  • Devise policies and guidelines to ease the implementation of the SMART CLASSROOM Project activities.

Job Specification :

  • Master in Education or relevant field.
  • At least three year experience in INGO/NGO in education sector.
  • Sound knowledge of integration of ICT in education.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and manage events such as meeting, workshop, conferences and seminar as well as transfer knowledge and skills.

GNI Nepal is initiating school based Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Project in Doti District and seek application for following post.

Position: Project Officer, Doti District (one)

Job Description :

  • Collect district/village level specific data and information about MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT (MHM).
  • Develop strategy on MHM.
  • Develop standard information package on MHM.
  • Organize awareness raising events as per the requirement.
  • Provide technical support for capacity building of female community health volunteers, school teachers and other health workforce, raise awareness on MHM support.
  • Organize community sensitization meetings on needs of adolescent girls.

Job Specification :

  • Bachelor degree in public health or relevant field.
  • At least two year experience in INGO/NGO in public health or MHM related project.
  • In depth knowledge of project implementation on MHM.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, plan and manage events such as meeting, workshop, conferences and seminar as well as transfer knowledge and skills.
