Receptionist - Nepal

Reports to

Employment type:

Full time on contract                                                       

Hours of work:

Preferably 3:45 a.m - 11: 45 a.m noon NPT OR

5:45 am to 1:45 p.m NPT (Not negotiable)

Leave entitlements:

18 days of paid annual leave, 15 days of paid leave for public holidays and 10 days of paid sick leave per annum.

You may need to work on some public holidays.

Until your probation period, you will be entitle for 1 day paid annual leave and 1 day paid sick leave.

Base salary: 12,000.00 NPR per month.

Monthly allowance: 12,000.00 NPR per month.

Total salary: 24,000.00 NPR per month.

After the completion of your probation period (minimum 6 months) 10% of your basic salary will be contributed to your provident fund (PF) and 10% will be contributed by the employer.

All cash/incentives paid to you shall be subject to income tax as per prevailing rates.

Key objectives:

General requirements

  • Handle incoming phone calls, first point of contact.

  • Liaise with banks, customers and/or relevant third party agencies via phone, email and fax.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Distributing missed calls to staff.

  • Assist IT to rectify any phone issues.

  • Looking after the use of office laptops.

  • Planning and organising the lunch phone duty schedule

Ad hoc duties:

May be required to assist with other admin tasks/projects

Monitoring your work

Your work progress will be monitored closely by your team leader to ensure that you are achieving the necessary results.

You will have access to a shared Google document that will allow you to record the tasks you are working on.

Your performance will be reviewed monthly or as per the set guideline.

Regular ongoing training will be provided by Management.

External training will be provided by Home Loan Experts if it is identified as relevant training for your role. Our business pays for up to NRS 85,000 p.a. for external training programs for each staff member. However, if you leave your employment of this company within 3 years of your commencement in the course then assistance in the form of fees and expenses for qualifications are to be paid back to the business as mentioned in the HR policy.

Career Growth

From this position it is possible to receive a higher rate of pay on management's discretion and payscale which is entirely based on your performance and attitude.
Based on your skills, management can create new role to suit your caliber or switch your role to a different department if need be. Minimum 18 months to 2 years in a current role before a promotion can be considered.
