Job Description

 

Position title

Office / IT Admin - Nepal

Directly Reports to

HR Manager and/or  IT Manager

Employment type

Full time on contract

Hours of work

7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Negotiable)


5 days a week and every first Sunday of each month


8 hours a day (Including one hour of lunch break)

Leave entitlements

  • 18 days of paid annual leave

  • 15 days of paid leave for public holidays

  • 10 days of paid sick leave


Until your probation period, you will be entitle for 1 day paid annual leave and 1 day paid sick leave a month.


Leave process applies as per company’s HR Policies / Office Procedure

Location

Salary and remuneration

Base salary: 10,000.00 NPR per month.


Monthly allowance: 10,000.00 NPR per month.


Total salary: 20,000.00 NPR per month.


After the completion of your probation period (minimum 6 months) 10% of your basic salary will be contributed to your provident fund (PF) and 10% will be contributed by the employer. Also, you’ll also be eligible for the Dashain bonus equal to base salary of a month.
 

All cash/incentives paid to you shall be subject to income tax as per prevailing rates.

Key objectives


  • Check IT issue e.g laptop configuration/formatting, Internet connection,monitoring connection / IT issues and prepare weekly / biweekly report.

  • Check Office Assets and Procurement of Electronics

  • Solving computer/network related issues

  • Managing office helpers / guard / gardener

  • Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of office / staff at all times

  • In charge of breakfast / tea / snacks etc provided to staff at office

  • Attending to guests / visitors /vendors / candidates

  • Make necessary arrangements for those visiting Nepal from Sydney

  • Running errands as instructed by managers

  • Organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office.

  • Organising office layout

  • Maintaining supplies of stationery, office equipment and groceries

  • Maintaining the office / arranging for necessary repairs

  • Any other AD HOC duties when required.

Monitoring your work

Your work progress will be monitored closely by your direct manager to ensure that you are achieving the necessary results.


You will have an access to a shared Google document and Redbooth (task management software) that will allow you to record the tasks you are working on.


Your performance will be reviewed as per the set guideline.

Your benefits

Support and Training: Regular ongoing training will be provided by as management sees fit.


You will be provided with the basic training on resolving IT issues e.g laptop configuration/formatting, Internet connection,monitoring connection / IT issues and prepare weekly / biweekly report.


External training will be provided by Home Loan Experts if it is identified as relevant training for your role. Our business pays for up to NRS 85,000 p.a. for external training programs for each staff member. However, if you leave your employment of this company within 3 years of your commencement in the course then assistance in the form of fees and expenses for qualifications are to be paid back to the business as mentioned in the HR policy.


Career Growth

From this position it is possible to receive a higher rate of pay or advance to more challenging role.

Based on your skills, management can create new role to suit your caliber or switch your role to a different department if need be. Minimum 18 months to 2 years in a current role before a promotion can be considered.
