Job Description

Main Duties/Responsibilities

1. Sales Target Achievement – Battery Products (2W & 4W)

  1. Achieve monthly and annual unit sales targets for both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler battery segments.
  2. Maintain product focus according to business priorities and stock movement trends.

2. Collection Management

  1. Ensure timely collection of payments from 2W and 4W dealers in alignment with company credit terms.
  2. Monitor and follow up on outstanding dues to minimize collection delays and improve cash flow.

3. Stock Planning & Management

  1. Maintain optimum stock levels for both 2W and 4W batteries at dealer and warehouse level.
  2. Prevent overstocking or stock-outs by aligning supply with sales forecasts and consumption patterns.

4. Dealer Network Expansion

  1. Identify and appoint new battery dealers/retailers to increase brand presence in uncovered or underperforming areas.
  2. Regularly visit existing dealers to maintain strong business relationships and ensure consistent order flow.

5. Sales & Collection Planning

  1. Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and collection plans, considering market trends, seasonality, and dealer feedback.
  2. Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure timely order dispatch and product availability.

6. Market & Competitor Analysis

  1. Prepare and submit reports including:
  2. Stock and Sales Reports (dealer- and region-wise)
  3. Industry Analysis (battery demand trends, vehicle population insights)
  4. Competitor Analysis (price, schemes, service)
  5. Price Mapping Reports (KL brand vs. competitors)

7. Audit Compliance

  1. Implement and execute recommendations from internal audits, especially in areas of billing, collection, stock, and pricing.
  2. Ensure adherence to all company sales policies, documentation standards, and reporting protocols.

8. Brand Promotion & Market Visibility

  1. Ensure the execution of brand promotion plans such as retailer branding, local campaigns, banners, and BTL activities.
  2. Track effectiveness of promotional activities and provide feedback for improvement.
  3. Ensure brand visibility across the sales channel, especially in retail and semi-urban areas.
