Job Description

CRS Nepal is planning to implement 5 years CRS Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) project that will provide technical assistance from United States (U.S) volunteers to farmers, farmer groups (cooperatives and associations), agribusinesses and other agriculture sector institutions in the countries of Nepal, Benin, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda and East Timor.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position forF2F project:

Project Director: (1 Position-Based in Kathmandu):Master's Degree in Agriculture, International Development, Program Management or related area. Minimum of 8 years of program management experience specially in agriculture related projects. Experience of engaging with partner organizations. Experience contributing to the development of technical proposals.Experience in an international or governmental program would be desirable. Excellent written and oral English and local language. Prior working experience in USAID funded project would be added advantage.

CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.
