Job Description

Head of Operation (HoOps) (1 Position-Based in Kathmandu):

The primary function of this position is to provide leadership and oversight of the Nepal country program's operational support departments including Human Resources, Finance, Information and Communication Technology, Supply Chain Management, Audit, Security, and other Administration. The HoOps ensures that programs are supported to effectively meet articulated needs, manage risk, and increase efficiency. Master's in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or other relevant field. Minimum five years' work experience in a management role of non-profit, development, and/or humanitarian organization. Experience managing large, complex U.S. government awards; knowledge of relevant regulations. Knowledge of procurement and general office administration/management issues. Computer literate in MS Office, internet, email. Strong communications and analytical abilities.

Organization Summary

CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.
