Job Description

Deputy Finance Manager (Kathmandu):

  • Oversee all activities that ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and documentation of the Finance Department's accounting operations and financial reporting. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration.
  • Qualification in accounting (CPA/ACCA or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience In a position with similar responsibilities, preferably with an INGO. Substantial budgeting, budget/expense analysis, and accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of the relevant public donors' regulations and of local taxation and regulatory reporting procedures. Knowledge of SunSystems financial accounting package or similar financial reporting software preferred.

CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.
