Job Description

This position is part of the Senior Management Team. The position holder will be responsible to provide strategic direction, leadership and management of the Country Program's programming and to ensure the establishment and successful implementation of high-quality projects. S/he will take the lead in adopting innovative approaches for programming for continued growth and relevance.

Key Qualification Required:

  • Master's degree in International Development, International Relations or relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant field-based program management, at least three years of middle/senior management experience in development organization.
  • Experience in the development of successful proposals, reports, strategic alliances, project design, project management, protection mainstreaming, gender equality and social inclusion mainstreaming, and monitoring and evaluation
  • Experience on partnership management.
  • Staff management and high-level leadership skill and experience.

CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.
