CARE Nepal is an international humanitarian organization working in the country for the past 37 years. It currently works in 36 districts through various programs on issues relating to improving the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable populations through programs that work on the following themes: food security and climate change; emergency preparedness and DRR; migration and urbanization; sexual reproductive and maternal health; gender based violence; women and girls’ leadership. CARE Nepal hereby invites applications from interested candidates for the following full time positions for the new phase of SAMMAN for a period of 3 years. The Strengthening Approaches for Maximizing Maternal, Neonatal, and Reproductive Health (SAMMAN) Project aims to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes by strengthening and increasing effectiveness of frontline Health Workers (HWs) to positively impact maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) goals. The three-year Project will start from October 2015 and will end in September 2018 to build on existing activities undertaken during the first Phase and extend the same to new project districts to help address disparities that exist in access to quality Maternal & Neo-natal Child Health services. The project will be implemented only for two years in the old districts where the first phase of the project was implemented (Doti, Dadeldhura and Kailali), whereas the project will be implemented for 3 years in Kavre and Sindhuli.
Driver (Based in Kavre)
Key responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of Administrative Assistant and guidance of project Manager, the Driver provides transportation related services, ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Ability to read and write in Nepali and simple English is desirable (SLC preferred) with a valid driving license of Jeep, Car, Van with at least 5 years of experience with any organization, preferably with I/NGOs.
Housekeeper (Based in Kavre)
Key responsibilities:
The Housekeeper will be responsible in performing a few outbound jobs of messaging, provide refreshment to guests and maintain the office space neat and clean.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Ability to read and write in Nepali and simple English is desirable with some experience of housekeeping / messaging tasks.
