The Assistant Grade Teacher supports the lead teacher in delivering quality education to students in grades 1 to 3. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson planning, classroom management, student engagement, and instructional support.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Lead Teacher: Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
Classroom Management: Help maintain a stimulating classroom environment and manage student behavior.
Instructional Support: Provide assistance to students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and learning resources.
Assessment and Feedback: Support assessment activities and provide feedback to students.
Communication: Maintain open communication with the lead teacher, parents, and stakeholders.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with record-keeping and classroom organization.
Professional Development: Participate in training to enhance teaching skills.
Safety and Welfare: Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
