1. Installations, troubleshooting and maintaining all fiber optic systems.
2. Creating sensors and performing inspections to make sure that the fiber optic systems do not have defects that could undermine performance.
3. Conducting regular inspections of the systems with the aim of locating and repairing any defects detected during the inspections.
4. Determining solutions to any problems and issues that are preventing the fiber optic systems from performing optimally.
5. Constructing a proper slice case as well as preparing and maintaining records, diagrams and schematics relating to the splice case.
1.Adequate knowledge and skill to use and operate Optical instruments and ODN Products, mainly Splicing Machine, OTDR, FDB, JCs, Power Meter, PLC Splitter, EDFA, WDM EDFA.
2. Should have knowledge on FTTH network design and implementation.
3. Basic IT and computer skills.
4. Flexibility to travel throughout Nepal
5. At least 4 years of experience in FTTH with diploma or equivalent
