FHI 360, an international NGO, requests applications from qualified individuals to work as a consultant to support on equipment maintenance, preparation/verification of equipment specification, procurement and TA on different microbiology equipment for surveillance site/ staff for Fleming Fund Country Grant for Nepal.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for the following activities.
Provide technical support on various microbiology equipment at the site-level and support on equipment maintenance.
Support to strengthen the equipment inventory system.
Coordinate with a local vendor for equipment maintenance, validation/calibration as required.
Support FFCGN staff on preparation equipment specification, technical aspects of equipment and procurement process.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineer and experience in the relevant sector.
Experience in working/repairing/maintenance of laboratory equipment including microbiology equipment.
Experience in technical specification preparation for the equipment procurement process.
