The DCA SARO invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for following position based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
1) Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Officer:
Key Responsibilities:
This is a senior level position and overall responsible to develop PME strategy, strengthen institutional result based-planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation system within DCA and its implementing partners, maintain PME database, produce reports and logical framework and play an integral part in proposal development. In addition s/he will be responsible to develop capacity of implementing partners, strengthen research, monitor the status of the program implementation in line with results framework, draw on lessons learnt, and responsible to facilitate to innovate and implement changes, and ensure evaluation and learning policies are in place and implemented. S/he will be also responsible to develop mechanisms to record knowledge and experience and contribute to learning and innovation in humanitarian and development activities
Required qualifications and competencies:
Post graduate degree in related subject specializations in research, monitoring and evaluation. Minimum three to five years of relevant work experience preferably with INGOs preferably. Skills and knowledge in conducting research/studies of development programs, expert on result based PME systems and methodologies plus knowledgeable on logical framework, result framework preparation and monitoring, skill to upgrade and maintain database and analyses and interpret data, excellent command in writing result based reports in both English and Nepali, and outcome/impact analysis and documentation skill. Knowledge on CHS, RBA, Gender d Social Inclusion are required. Experience on operating M and E Software, networking, and coordination skills.
