Job Description

These positions will be based in Mid-West or Far West Nepal.

Specific duties:

  • Implement and maintain adaptive research trials and farmers’ participatory trials.
  • Develop training material and conduct in-field demonstrations, field days, and farmer trainings.
  • Follow best practices in data collection, organizing, managing, storing, and archiving data.
  • Support sustainable partnerships among multiple public and private sector entities.
  • Assist in develop questionnaires and conduct field surveys as needed.
  • Coordinate and assist in efforts to raise awareness about project activities, products, and outcomes among stakeholders, policy makers, and the general public.
  • Contribute to project-related communications and outputs, including news and updates, photos and videos.

Required academic qualifications, skills and attitudes:

  • Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cereal-based cropping systems.
  • Ability to work in a team or to work independently if needed.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
