Job Description

This position will be based in Mid-West or Far West Nepal.

Specific duties:

  • Handle purchase requisitions, process expenditure claims, prepare vouchers, maintain logs of incoming and outgoing payments, and ensure timely payments and timely deposits in accordance with CIMMYT and USAID’s financial procedures and systems.
  • Facilitate regular audits, prepare financial statements for the project, prepare management response to the auditor, and ensure to follow up of auditor recommendations and their execution
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all administrative and financial information.
  • Administrate aspects of running field offices.

Required academic qualifications, skills and attitudes:

  • Degree in Commerce, Economics or related field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience, preferably with NGOs/INGOs.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English required.
  • Proficiency in MS office.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
