Job Description

Project Officer – 3 positions
Job profile: Under the direct supervision of Project Manager, s/he will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the implementation, monitoring, documentation and knowledge management of project activities.

Key Responsibilities
 Support the implementing partners in planning and implementation of project activities;
 Monitor project activities and be responsible for reporting and knowledge management;
 Perform a regular financial follow up and analysis of partners’ accountancy;
 Develop partners’ capacity in project issues and project implementation; and
 Analyse all partners documents, cross check the partner reports, compile and provide reliable analysis.

Required qualifications and competencies
 Bachelor degree in social sciences or any related field with at least two (2) years of professional experiences in project implementation preferably in I/NGO sector;
 Knowledge in human rights, emergency response, disaster recovery, inclusive education or social inclusion and related policies is preferred.
 Proven skills in coordination with government authorities and other stakeholders;
 Experience in partnership management, facilitation and training;
 Excellent report writing skills in Nepali and English languages.

Conditions, Salary & Benefits
 Position is based in Kathmandu with travels to other parts of Nepal as required.

 Duration of contract will be 2 years with possible extension.
