Job Description

Position : Compliance Officer
Work station : Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal
Reports To : Head of Support Services
Contract : 12 months fixed term (with possibility of an open ended contract as per policy)

Position Summary: Reporting Directly to Head Of support Services, the Compliance Officer is responsible to ensure and support the compliance of H.I. Nepal and donor rules in the HI Nepal program and partner organizations.

Job Description:

  • Ensure the H.I. Nepal and donor rules compliance in HI Nepal program
  • Provide orientation and training to H.I. Nepal staff and partner staffs in H.I. Nepal and donor rules and procedures
  • Facilitate and be responsible for local partnership agreement and fund transfer
  • Organize and plan regular internal audit in the organization and partner organizations

Job Specification:

  • Master's degree in relevant field with 3 years' work experience
  • Good orientation and training skills
  • Knowledge of internal audit, audit and policy implementation
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Nepali languages
