Job Description

Project Assistant – 4 positions

Job Profile: Under the direct supervision of Project Manager, s/he will be responsible for providing administrative, financial, logistics and communication support to project team/s for an efficient daily organisation of the project/s and its activities.

Key Responsibilities:
 Provide administrative supports in project implementation;
 Perform necessary documentation/ archiving of project related documents (letters, agreements, reports, administrative documents, project proposals etc.);
 Carry out partners’ financial settlement in compliance with HI financial and donor rules in close cooperation with the Accounts unit;
 Provide logistics support in project events (meetings, workshops, trainings, field visits etc.); and
 Provide Communication support and information dissemination internally and externally to partners and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Intermediate level qualification in the related field with at least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in an I/NGO;
 Proven competency and ability in coordinating with multiple stakeholders;
 Practical organization skills, ability to work pro-actively through objectives in a result oriented approach;
 Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; and
 Fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali.

 Position is based in Kathmandu with travels to other parts of Nepal as required.

 Duration of contract will be 2 years with possible extension.
