Project: GIZ /DF ID-Risk Management Office (RMO)
Position: Intern
Working period: 6 months (15 February-14 August. 2016)
Working location: Kathmandu, Nepal
Brief description of the programme
The RMO is a joint undertaking by the UK's Department of International Development (DAD) and GIZ and provides risk Management support to DFID and GIZ, as well as their programmes and partners. Through a range of services, including trainings, provision of risk advice and updates, the RMO enables programmes to work safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Intern will be supporting in the following activities:
Compilation of daily situation updates
Compilation of regular political reports
Support in Maintenance of RMO database
Translation of relevant document from Nepali to English and vice versa
Logistic support in arranging meetings, workshops, trainings, orientations,etc.
Other assigned duties as and when required at RMO.
General Requirements:
Experience: No prior experience required

Other: Candidates with more than one year of work experience, or those who have already worked with GIZ Nepal or DFID are not eligible. With equal qualification. women and applicants from disadvantaged groups are given preference.
