Major Areas of Responsibilities
A. Provide support in Women’s Rights (WR) Theme and ensure effective programmes on the theme are developed for ERP
B. Build the capacity of ERP AAN staff and PNGO staff on issues relating to Women’s Rights
C. Ensure effective network/linkage with existing partners, alliances, key actors engaged in WR work at districts, national levels
D. Monitor and evaluate thematic work relating to Women’s Rightsof ERP
E. Contribute to overall Team to develop and implement strategies and policies
F. Take corporate responsibilities
Job Competencies
· Master's degree in Social Sciences (Gender studies) or any other relevant social sciences
· A minimum of three years' experience in the development sector
Required Skills:
· Sensitive and responsive to gender, ethnicity, disability and HIV & AIDS issues and other core AA values
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· Participatory and team player
· Proactive in liaising and problem-solving
· Have basic knowledge of programme, plan and budget
· Have excellent language skills in English and Nepali
· Have excellent computer skills including navigating email, internet and MS WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint
