Job Description

The Knowledge Policy and Governance Manager will effectively lead, manage, coordinate and monitor thematic engagements of AAIN Country Strategy Paper IV to achieve overall organisational goals of poverty eradication in Nepal. This position ensures thematic knowledge management in AAIN and leads, designs effective programme related policies,strategies and campaigns that supports the overall organisational strategy and direction.
 

Key competencies required:

  • Master’s degree in social science or relevant field. Expertise in any one of the following areasis highly preferable: Women’s Rights, Education, Governance.
  • Seven years of experience in programme and project management with at least three years in senior level management is required. Ability and proven experience in Public Policy formulation, Policy Research, Analysis and Policy Advocacy in liaison with like-minded organisations and government agencies is highly desirable.

This is a senior level position based in Kathmandu with frequent national and internationaltravel.
