Job Description

  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present budget variance analyses to management, providing recommendations for cost control and optimization.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Present financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies and monitor banking relationships.
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
  • Work with tax professionals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Coordinate the preparation and filing of tax returns and respond to tax inquiries.
  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
