UN-HABITAT being the Executing Agency of Global Sanitation Fund (GSF) supported by Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) is focusing to achieve Open Defecation-Free (ODF) and build the capacity in selected Districts, VDCs, Municipalities and strengthen the sector and monitoring at national and district levels through operationalization of National Sanitation and Hygiene Master Plan. The programme is seeking for professional and competent candidates to for the post of Distract Coordinator (DC).
District Coordinators (Consultants) : 5 Posts
Contract Type: Individual Consultant (IC)
Duty Station: Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Bhaktapur, Bara and Parsa ,
Duration: 12 months; extendable upon requirement of programme and Performance Evaluation of DC
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Required Documents: as per the TOR
Qualified and potential candidates’ roster will be maintained by UN-Habitat, if DCs are required for other working districts in future.

The applicant will have adequate exposure to the sector holding least Proficiency Certificate degree with five years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years practical experience with sufficient knowledge of the specified district and skills in the field of sanitation and hygiene.

1. Proposal:
(i)Mentioning Interested working District;
(ii)Explaining why they are the most suitable for the work;
(ii) Provide a brief methodology on how they will approach and perform work;
2. Financial proposal for only monthly fee.
3. Personal CV including past experience in similar projects and at least 3 references -attched P11
