Job Description

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum two years of experience in similar post.

Skills /Competency Requirement:

  • Modern warehouse procedures, including methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials, basic stock inventory procedures, stock rotation, requisitions, purchase orders, quotation and invoices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, multitasking and discretion Skills.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
  • High degree of integrity towards team work and professionalism.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders, processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders, reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
  • Demand/order equipment and supplies using correct procedures.
  • To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum.
  • Fills supply requisitions; assists buyer to order adequate merchandise and supplies, delivers orders to faculty and staff.
  • To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
  • Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, repairs and surplus property.

Organization Summary

GEMS Institute of Higher Education, the higher section of Graded English Medium School (GEMS), was established in 2008 with the prime objective of providing higher level education from Pre-university to Masters level degree courses. Currently, we offer GCE A Level, a prestigious degree programme of the Cambridge University, the UK and Plus 2 in Science under the affiliation with Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB), Nepal. We also offer Bachelor of Science (BS) programme under the affiliation with Angeles University Foundation (AUF), the Philippines. The BS degree is a pre-requisite course for Doctor of Medicine (MD) in the Philippines. Our students join Angeles University for MD upon completion of BS with us.

The higher education facilities are located within the campus of the main complex of the high school at Khumaltar, Dhapakhel, which is 1.5 kilometer away from Sat Dobato, Lalitpur.
