Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer ( 1)
Job Type: Time Bound Contract
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Role and Responsibility:
This position aims to provide support to company’s Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RME) functions through implementation of M&E plan, ensuring data quality, capacity building on M&E functions, providing support on research and technical study. The Project M&E Officer will be responsible to assist the RME Manager for the design and implementation of comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system of the projects implemented by CRS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Public/Reproductive Health /Social Science/ Management with three years of experience in research, monitoring & evaluation or Masters’ in Public/Reproductive Health /Social Science/ Management with one year of experiences in Research, Monitoring & Evaluation.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980. â€¨
