Career Opportunities with CRS/ HRRP The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) was established to support the Government of Nepal and Partner Organisations (POs) with coordination of the post-earthquake housing reconstruction led by the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA). The HRRP is currently led by CRS Nepal and has been approved for its fourth phase.

Hub Team- Technical Coordinator (1 Position-Based in any 32 Earthquake affected District):
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture Engineering. Minimum of three years of experience in similar role, experience in housing reconstruction is plus. Knowledge of Nepal building codes, government structures, and operations mechanics, standards, urban development and prevailing civil engineering principles and practices and coordination is preferred. Experience with humanitarian recovery and reconstruction programs and with coordinating and liaising with various organizations and the government entities and with technical background is a plus. Experience working in I/NGO is added assets.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
