Job Summary: The Sangini network is a partial franchising model that operates through pre-existing medical outlets. The medical outlets are certified to administer Sangini, after three days of basic training on Sangini. CRS monitors Quality of Care Provided by these outlets through Quality Assurance Officers (QAO). CRS is looking for ‘Manager - Quality Assurance’ to lead a team of QAO’s engaged in providing technical support to Sangini Outlets. S/he is responsible for the review and revision/development, management and on-going enhancement of Sangini network. S/he will identify and address quality of care gaps with ‘Sangini’ service providers.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Science or BS prepared Registered Nurse or relevant degree in clinical background
Minimum Experience: 5-6 years’ experience in Reproductive health (RH) provision (clinical experience)

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
