Nepal CRS Company (Nepal CRS) is a not-for-profit company engaged in social marketing of family planning, maternal child health and other health products in Nepal to improve the national health status by changing behavior and increasing access to health products and services. CRS is looking for following position for its anticipated project on tuberculosis control through public private mix model in selected 6 metropolitans (Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Biratnagar, Bharatpur, Birgunj) and sub metropolitan city (Nepalgunj) of Nepal.

Job Type : Fixed Term Contract (annually renewal based on performance and availability of funding).

Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible to conduct daily cough surveillance at selected entrance. registration and service areas of the healthcare facility and facilitate the process for patient. Collect, produce and submit sputum of presumptive patient according the TB Worker's manual at gene x-pert flab for lab investigations. Educate the patient ott respiratory hygiene, chest x-ray, early diagnosis and treatment. Responsible to recording and reporting in regular basis and submit to supervisor. Coordinate with Hospital team to share the report and suggest for further improvement.
Minimum Qualification/Experience: CMA/ANM/ or other health related field with minimum 3 years of experience in health program at hospital or community outreach.
Preferred/Additional Qualification: Should have respective counsel's registration (renewed). Local resident and willing to work being stationed at selected hospital.Computer skills, Communication and facilitation skills will be an asset.

The Nepal Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project was established in July 1976. Its status was formally acknowledged by the Ministry of Finance in 1978. Financial support was provided by USAID through Westinghouse Electric Inc, USA.
The social marketing of Dhaal, Nepal’s first male contraceptive, was inaugurated by
Princess Prekshya in May 1978. These condoms were sold through 55 outlets in Kathmandu and generated significant sales from the outset. The project introduced Nepal’s first condom vending machine in Kathmandu in 1980.
