Job Description

 Position: Programme Development Coordinator (Kathmandu based with field visits)

UMN is seeking to expand its programmes whilst maintaining the high quality for which it is well known. A Programme Development Unit has been created which will have a major responsibility for co-ordinating the development of UMN’s new programmes. The post-holder will report directly to the Technical Director and, working closely with UMN Cluster Teams, Technical Teams and Funding Team, s/he will play a key role in designing projects, writing/ editing project proposals, and editing donor reports, ensuring that UMN’s projects are ofan excellent technical standard, compliant with UMN’s strategy, and designed to maximise  learning for all stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Development or another relevant subject;
• A solid track record in writing winning project proposals;
• Substantial experience in working for I/NGOs;
• Excellent writing skills in English;
• Numerate and able to work accurately with budgets;
• A good networker with excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary range: NRP 94,000 to 102,800 basic salary per month
